Currently the firm continues
to be a family enterprise and capital is totally of national origin
pertaining to the directors of the tannery: Mr. Guillermo Bzurovski,
Mrs. Myriam Bay and their sons Alejandro, Alvaro, Aldo and Andrés.
This accounts for 100% of equity shares. Its considerable present development
arises as a consequence of our 56 years experience and serious and
honest performance, thus turning it into the Leader Tannery in the
treatment of cowhides and sheepskins in the country, a fact of which
we are justly proud.
The inauguration in 1998 of the
cowhide processing plant, started a fundamental process of change
which covers all sectors within this activity.
The cowhide market requires high technification and considerable professionalism,
conditions which have lead to the need for building a totally new,
latest generation Tannery. However it also lead to a change in management
which is aimed at quality and the total satisfaction of our customers
who demand high quality standards and a rigorous process control.
One consequence has been the improvement in sheepskin production,
a sector in which working techniques have been modernized, to which
should be added a high share of professionalism in a task with a marked
craftsmanship component. To this should be added a staff of highly
qualified personnel, some of the having worked for the firm for over
25 years, which points to great fidelity and the excellent working
spirit prevailing in Curtiembre París S.A. Finally in June
2000 the new administrative, production and commercial offices were
inaugurated, located in a 3-story building situated next to the industrial
plant. They are equipped with the ultimate technology, notwithstanding
their functionality and comfort, and are directly interconnected with
the neuralgic areas inside the factory.
